New Year at Hogwarts

Sectus watched as the last student was sorted into Ravenclaw after about five hundred students were sorted into their houses and he finally stood and raised his arms. "To our new arrivals, welcome, to our older students, welcome back!" he said happily to them all as he lowered his arms. "Yes, welcome to another eventful year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Another year of new friendships, and in some occasions, new rivals" he said eying the Slytherins, who began to smirk at him.

"I hope you will all find yourselves in caring arms as you come to this school to learn of new things and ideas, now to end my speech, I would like to say, once again, welcome, now, enjoy the feast!" he said as mountains of food appeared on the gold shining plates. He saw the same faces he saw every year, joy and wonder. He sat and began to eat some potato....
